The subject of the Convention covers polysaccharide:
- structure,
- analysis,
- reactivity,
- modifications by physical, chemical and enzymatic methods,
- production and technology.
English will be official conference language.
FORMULA OF RUNNING XVI INTERNATIONAL STARCH CONVENTION
Each section will be run on the following basis:
Lectures (30 min) of the day will be followed by round-table discussions moderated by two experts.
The round table discussion will be followed by brief, 5-10 minute presentations from the authors of posters related to the subject of the day. The authors, as they wish, may limit they presentation solely to the displaying their posters. On their oral presentation, the authors of posters are kindly requested to present briefly objectives of their project, rationales, and final results. Details would be available on their posters presented during the regular poster session of the day. More space, (two tables) would be provided for the authors. The best poster presentation of the day will be honoured with a prize
The participants are kindly invited to present their contributions in either oral or poster form.
The organizers also provide a social program (for participants and accompanying persons).
Conference fee:
700 Euro for participants, 100 Euro for M.Sc. and Ph.D. students, 600 Euro accompanying persons.
The 2nd circular will be provided by January 2008 to those who return the enclosed form before 30th December 2007.
