FORMULA OF RUNNING XVI INTERNATIONAL STARCH CONVENTION
Convention subject was broadly divided onto following sections:
I - Theory and structure
II - Biotechnology and analytics
III - Modifications
IV - Technology and Food quality

Each section will be run on the following basis:

Lectures (30 min) of the day will be followed by round-table discussions moderated by two experts.

The round table discussion will be followed by brief, 5-10 minute presentations from the authors of posters related to the subject of the day. The authors, as they wish, may limit they presentation solely to the displaying their posters. On their oral presentation, the authors of posters are kindly requested to present briefly objectives of their project, rationales, and final results. The best poster presentation of the day will be honoured with a prize.

Authors of posters are kindly requested to notify Organising Committee if they wish to present their posters orally before the end of May 2008.
